Friday reached 91 degrees, just a tad warm huh? I went in for my post surgery check-up . Dr wood shares her office not only at 801 OhioHealth Blvd but also at the old Parker clinic. Boy oh boy did that bring back some childhood memories. Mom took us there for our check-ups or ailment troubles. The old fireplace is still there with the screen baring the "P" lettering on the side. The room Dr. Wood talked to me in was the same room I remember being blue with that cold metal exam table...ooh was that a rotten memory. Oh course that has all changed.
Jim, JR. and William Parker, I remember JR and William but never met their dad. William Parker was the surgeon. Very vague memories of them now. Its funny, I think that old building still has the same odor..yikes.
I am healing just fine but still battling Acid Reflux, so I have to take acid reducers for six weeks to see if it helps, if not I will have to have a camera go down my throat to see if I have ulcers. I am praying that the reducers will resolve the trouble..here's hoping..
Today, I took my daughter and her friend to see "The Giver" at Strand. The kids had read this book in school. The movie was really good, but according to my daughter didn't exactly follow the book. I remember when I was in school, we read " Romeo and Juliet" and then took a field trip to see it in the movie theater somewhere in Columbus, Oh. The kids look at me like I'm nuts because its the old mom stories of school days..you know..boring details..lol.
So, I wanted to write to you IM Schizz, my one and only man in my life to tell you I am thinking about you, I never forget you at all, as I carry you in my thoughts but mostly in my heart. Hope you are doing ok, Love you so very much, love to everyone too!
