For about six months now, my kids and I have been going to The Church Of Christ on Curve Rd. Its a very nice little church with wonderful people. The congregation isn't very big but my parents, sisters and brother with their families go there. Its funny we almost make up one side of the church. My Great Grandpa Alvestal Mc Donnell used to be a Layman for the Church Of Christ in Delaware, Ohio , so I think it would make him happy to know that his family was going their.
My Aunt Billie goes to St. Mary's and is Catholic, she knows the Pastor at The Church Of Christ where we go because Pastor Paul has visited folks at Sarah Moore where she used to work. Pastor is ornery but he and his wife are really terrific people and make you feel right at home.
I visited St Mary's many years ago and really enjoyed the church but since I didn't know too many there other than my Aunt, I never got a chance to go back. So many things in my life had been so disarrayed.
Lent had been going on for awhile and is very important, fish is the meal during Lent. A month or so ago, I got sick on seafood but wanted to try again to eat fish during this season. The grocery had it for sale so I decided to pick some up and it tasted real good. I am so glad that my kids enjoy fish as it is good for them. I need to eat more of it myself because of the omega fatty acids in the meat itself.
It doesn't matter if we are Catholic, Church Of Christ or any other denomination, as long as we are in The Family Of God and love one another. That is all that matters.
I am proud of my family, I love you all!

Houston We Have A "Cute" Problem
Most used line in movie history I think but I had to use it for my Great Nephew. I am proud of his parents. His mother had spent some time with my daughter during this road to recovery from Anorexia. She, my daughter and I went out to a farm where my niece kept her horse. She and my daughter worked with him , I would hold his reins while they brushed him. My daughter even rode him a few times. During our trips over there, my daughter and my great nephew sat in the back of the car. My great nephew would offer my daughter Gold Fish Crackers.
My niece is originally from Carver, Massachusetts, studied horticulture at The University Of Massachusetts Amherst and has lived here in Ohio for a while. She now she is a manager at Dress Barn.
Must be some certain love and caring in the people of Massachusetts that bring out the best in our family, I am so thankful for that!
My love to you all!

Is "I Don't Know" On Your Menu?
Its almost the same answer I get from my two teenagers whenever I ask them "What do you want to eat tonight?" This usually comes after they come to me pleading that they are hungry. Coming from my daughter, it is a welcomed statement. My son eats almost anything, so I don't worry about him.
Anyway I joked with them by saying...."You know, If someone came up with a food..I don't know..they'd make a lot of money from it."
I always get a chuckle from the kids...then I got thinking about it...I don't know... what is it?
Bill Cosby's version is that it's "Brain Damage" because that's the reply that has been uttered by every child since the dawn of time whenever we do something we aren't supposed to do.
I came to the conclusion that for supper "I don't know" is something I decide on to fix whether or not they ask for it...I guess.
That is the beauty part of it, Mom's choice.
