So glad to see the sun today. Spent most of my day in the kitchen making veggie pizza for my daughter. I got the recipe from my sister, pretty tasty stuff and somewhat perfect for lent, although I am not sure of some ingredients.
It was cutting up the vegetables that takes the longest. Lets see if I can remember all of it as you might like to try it yourself hon, if you like,
Cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, radishes ,tomatoes, multicolor sweet peppers, cucumber and green onions (Topping) I mixed this up in a large bowl
Sauce/base or spread ,mix 1 box cream cheese or lower fat substitute with reg tub french onion dip.
Crust- is crescent roll dough , flatten it out on a cookie sheet (Pillsbury) Bake that first, cool spread cream cheese/dip mixture on crust, add veggies. Then top with your favorite shredded cheese and chill.
Even got my son to eat it, so it worked on all levels. It does fill ya up. I started potato soup in my crock-pot as well tonight.
Looks like we are going to see some signs of spring next week, so happy for that. Hope you are doing good tonight sweetheart and keeping yourself warm, I am always thinking about you, sure love to brush back your hair from your handsome face with my fingers. No matter what ,it is always such a comforting feeling!
Gosh, I was reading an article on WebMd about alternatives to anti-depression meds. Sounds a little strange to me. Ketamine and Nitrous Oxide were two they brought up. Couldn't believe that!
Seems odd too all of the technology that is coming up in the news. I hate to mention this subject with a recipe but yesterday going to get my daughter's shoes, there was a story on the radio how they are coming up with a sensor to tell a person when their bowels are going to move. In some ways I think it might benefit in others I have to ask, have we gotten that bored in science to come up with such a thing? I mean for a person who cannot communicate to another person . Say maybe a person in a wheelchair or couldn't speak because of a stroke, lost their voice , it would be great.
I know, I bring up different things. So I will think of something pleasant...for instance the sound of your voice, your warm and loving eyes and smile. Just to be next to you. Being held by you, is a wonderful thought for me. I want so much to share all my hugs and kisses with you right now!! Love you so much Stephen, Please, please take care of yourself get a good night's rest..I will check in tomorrow!!!!!!

Hello Schizz, Love You,Hope You Had A Great Day Sweetheart!
Sorry it took me so long to write you back these couple of days. In my daughter's class there have been some kids and the teacher out with the stomach flu. I think all three of us have had it, seems like it doesn't take long to pass through, thank goodness plus I think I wore myself out trying to get everything done in one day. I can remember when it didn't bother me so much. I hope and pray all of you are doing ok and you are staying well. Taking care of yourself like you should. I know sometimes we all put ourselves last and knowing you, you worry about everyone first, so please be taking some time out to rest yourself.
Still having really nice dreams of you, they are really sweet. I see where they started the Marathon Bombing Trial, that has to be tough on everyone , sure hope it doesn't go on too long as that can be stressful for everyone concerned.
Still looking for the first robin of spring to show up, so far , no signs at all. I think all the animals are tired of the winter too. Today I had to stop at the gas station on Central Ave to put more fuel in my car before taking my daughter to get new running shoes for track. Dick's Sporting Goods is over there at Polaris, anyway first I had to stop off of William Street to where Oakside Animal Hospital moved to. I had to pick up Heart Guard for the three Amigos (Canine Crew). I decided to cross over from William to Central by using Houk Road.
I showed my daughter where her Grandpa Wells lived when he was a young boy. I know you have been on Houk Road. My dad used to live in that old school house/house on the hill. I was telling her it was then that dad , her grandpa Wells decided to drive his Uncle John's Model T Ford . He told me that he thought the bridge over that little stream was too narrow, so he decided to take the Model T through the stream. Of course the stream is real little but he said he got the car stuck and his Uncle John had to come and get him out, needless to say, Uncle John wasn't too happy.
The house still sits there and still is used as a residence. My daughter enjoyed hearing that as she and her brother both enjoy your stories too. Thought you would get a kick out of it.
I know you are more than likely getting ready to go to bed if your aren't already nice and warm under the covers. Hopefully the air will start to warm up and it will release us from this cold huh? I am thinking about you Sweetheart, please get a good night's rest, I love you so very much, all my hugs and kisses tonight and for the morning. I will check in tomorrow Schizz!

How Is Your Day Schizz?
Yesterday was my errand running day. It was messy and miserable . It rained all day, my daughter had track practice, so along with paying bills and grocery shopping, I needed to pick her up. Didn't get home until late. I also had to have my oil changed and windshield wipers replaced at Valvoline on Houk Road. Turns out I need to have a host of things done..surprise, surprise.. My serpentine belt needs replaced, this is one that can't be put off, this runs everything and when it goes ...the car stops ,quits to put it plain. I wanted to tell you if you didn't know it already, Stephen. If your mechanic tells you , you need a serpentine belt replaced, its a good thing to do so. I am getting it done next month. It isn't too bad, but getting worn.
The pulley is squeaking too, my transmission needs lubed and my tires rotated...somehow writing that out sounds a little suggestive ...that isn't good..lol
Sorry, I didn't write last night, I was pretty tired, you know the dumbest thing was I tossed and turned all night. My son is still lagging in his studies, which has me concerned. I talked to his English teacher and he told me that he does the work but he doesn't use his time wisely. Seems my son is a "Social Bug" he is too busy talking. I never would have guessed this because he started out such a quiet child. I guess he is making up for it BUT at the wrong time. I told him he has plenty of time to be "Mr Popular" his work needs the attention first. I wish he would get that through his head. Wish you were here to talk to him. My parents, his aunts have all tried to drill that into his mind. If you can keep him in your prayers, I would surely appreciate it.
Hope and pray you are doing ok and the family is all well. I know the weather once again has made the news..one day it has to be better huh. I will check on you again later, I love you so very much, my one and only! Please be careful going home, my love, my hugs and my kisses for tonight and in the morning!!!!!!!

Hi Schizz, Pray That The Day Was A Good One!
Hello Sweetheart, hope and pray your day is going good, I can't remember whether it ends at five or five-thirty. None the less I am thinking of you and wishing that you will have a safe trip home,;followed with a nice warm meal and a great cup of coffee.
I know you all up there got more snow, it just seems the word is getting as old as the winter season. Eighteen more days until spring, if you count today, I suppose in theory, its seventeen seeing that the day is almost done.
The birthstone for May is Emerald you know but somehow I always pair March with the color of green. Not sure if its because of St. Patrick's Day or the arrival of spring soon to come. Either way its good.
Thinking about you with much love today and hope and pray that you and everyone is doing good. We have another yuky day in store for tomorrow, with rain, sleet and freezing rain. I always look forward to The National Weather Service's Severe Weather Awareness Week coming up soon. That is when they go over last years records and brush everyone up on terms and procedures. Its really informative, no matter how many times I listen to it, I still enjoy it...I know here I go again on "The weather". All of you I know are extremely tired of hearing about weather and come this fall, they will go over the snowfall and the records it broke. Prayerfully ,flooding won't make any records this year. Not bad when the population isn't affected directly but when in the dense areas, not good at all..huh? All of you are surrounded with water, so here's praying it will not be bad for you But with all the mounds of snow and record snowfall when it does melt,it surely can't be good..so Please be careful!!
Love you so much Stephen, many hugs and kisses tonight and for the morning, if I don't write again tonight because I can't sleep...hate to say that but its because I am thinking about you..all your fault, you have to be sweet and handsome! (That should bring a smile to your wonderful face and bright eyes!)
I'll check on you later, hon!!

Just Falling Snow
Hi Stephen, hope and pray everyone is doing fine and Mr. Schizz had a good day. Been quiet today other than the weather, been snowing all day. Heard on the news people have been selling snow. I guess there is plenty of it, it won't run out...well until it melts anyway. Sports has been kind boring today, golf isn't a spectator sport for me, rather be playing it.
I recall playing floor hockey in gym, that was super fun. Haven't watched too much Hockey on television. So many sports are more fun to play than watch , basketball for another example. My daughter didn't make the team but like me, its just fun to play without being on a team for her too. She is gearing up for Track again this year.
I guess my strongest sport was soccer, again more fun to play than watch. I have to admit, I haven't watched too many sports lately, of course, just haven't been in the mood for it but I sure want The Bruins and The Celtics to have a great season though.
Hope you had some time to relax today, just some time for yourself. I wonder if you are still doing your wood-working to unwind? Sure was a perfect day for it. The smaller projects anyway, of course you would had to crank-up the heater in your shop or basement, not sure what you have your material at.
I watched on "O.S.U Create" today how to make a garden gate, that was fascinating . That project was definitely a spring task. Here we come upon "Daylight Savings Time" next weekend and going to loose that extra hour of sleep...not looking forward to that but the extra hour of daylight is good no matter what.
I have to ask, what ya up to tonight? I am just here asking you..Wishing I was with you, I love you so very much!!!
You have a great evening , I am sending my hugs and kisses for you tonight before your head hits your pillow. I always pretend my pillow is you so I can cuddle it. If you wake up in the night, I send my hugs and kisses to you again and when you wake in the morning. You have a great day tomorrow ok, I will be thinking about you. I will write you and when you get a chance please write back, I will check on you tomorrow...LOVE YOU!!!!
